Laboratory Assistant –candidates must have Associates Degree and/or biotechnology, medical device, pharmaceutical industry experience. Experience in cGMP manufacturing a plus.
Position will provide support to on-going development and production activities at Affinity Life Sciences. Duties and responsibilities will include; general laboratory skills including buffer and reagent preparation, instrument and equipment cleaning and maintenance, facility cleaning and washing of process equipment, filling operations, sample handling and safety, and the ability to follow strict quality standards and documentation (cGMP) all while maintaining a high level of quality and work integrity.
Manufacturing Associate candidates must have a BS with 0 to 5 years experience in the biotechnology, medical device, and/or pharmaceutical industries. Experience in cGMP manufacturing a plus.

Manufacturing Associate will also provide additional manufacturing support including assay development and testing. Experience with some of following techniques required: biomarker and protein ELISA development and production, antibody/antigen purification/conjugation, gel electrophoresis, column chromatography (FPLC). Knowledge of HPLC, clinical chemistry, and GLP is a plus.
